This little tandem two seater is the brainchild of a father son team in Spokane, Washington. It is their electric powered answer to the European Smart car. Passenger rides in rear seat.

The Tango next to a European Smart car
The Tango is only three feet three inches wide. With it’s ability to go from zero to sixty miles per hour in only four seconds it has been called a “golf cart on steroids”. A single charge can take you about 80 miles.

Solution to city parking problems
The Tango will be sold in a kit form and they will be offering a few production models slated for release in early 2005 with prices starting at around $18,700. The Commuter Cars web site can be found here.
