Mel Wade and his son Keith of Lansing, Michigan are on a Lewis and Clark Bicycle Tour that is being chronicled on Mel’s web site found here.
Mel plans to post to his web site often during the next 18 days. They will not have van assist and must carry all of their own camping gear, tools and spare parts. Their starting point is St. Louis, Missouri where the Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery expedition began 201 years ago.
Their ultimate goal is to arrive in Bismarck, North Dakota on July 28. Tire or mechanical problems may slow them down and by July 28 they may be nearer Pierre or Chamberlain, South Dakota.

I wish them well and hope they make it all the way to Bismarck!
