This Church was made from more than 75,000 Lego pieces and took about 18 months to plan, build and photograph. It is about 7 feet by 5.5 feet by 2.5 feet.
The Church will seat 1,372 minifig’s (Lego people). It has 3,976 windows, stairs to a balcony, restrooms, coat rooms, a baptistery, alter, pulpit, several mosaics and an elaborate pipe organ.
The builder says she does not know exactly how much the Church cost but it was more than her lunch and less than her car.
It was built after her dark ages. For non-lego people, “dark ages” is a term used by adult LEGO fans to describe the years between putting down LEGO as a child and picking it back up as an adult.
She was never in contact with the Lego people about this project. The Church has probably been taken down now and the materials used in another large project.
