Police said a man who carjacked an SUV in Boca Raton drove all the way to Palm Springs before becoming lost and calling 911 on himself.

He forced his way into a GMC Envoy while it was stopped at a red light in Boca Raton, Florida.

The carjacker then drove wildly, striking two cars on his way to Palm Springs where he became lost and called 911 from a pay phone.

He wanted police to come and get him but he couldn’t tell them where -- he was lost.
