Obama follows Edwards: backs out of FOX News debate

Last week John Edwards announced he would not appear in the FOX News debate.

Sen. Barack Obama (pictured), D-Illinois, will be the second Democratic presidential candidate to boycott a proposed debate to be broadcast by Fox News Channel.

"CNN seems to be a more appropriate host," an Obama campaign aide tells ABC News.

Of course CNN would be a better host for any Democrat running for any office.

CNN has proven to be the most liberal leaning cable news channel.

Former Sen. John Edwards, D-NC, was the first to formally boycott the Fox News debate, which is sponsored by the Congressional Black Caucus, of which Obama is a member.

Seems like Democrats running for office are afraid of the tough questions. They are more accustomed to the friendly environment CNN provides liberal candidates.
