Two weeks ago I skipped posting to this blog for a couple of days due to eye surgery. As a result, blog visits dropped from about 650 per day to about 300.
Actually, that’s not all bad because it reduces my bandwidth. However, if nobody clicked on this blog, there would be no incentive to keep adding material.
This time some postings were added with a time delay to make it look like there were new postings every day.
Anyway, the other eye had surgery yesterday morning. It was to be a routine procedure to replace a lens in the eye that accomplished two things. The cataract cloudiness was removed and an interocular lens was implant that corrected distance vision to 20 20.

One thing it couldn’t correct was a problem from a prior retina re-attachment that has been causing a problem for several years.
Also, extra stitches were required this time and we hope the medication to combat infection is effective.
