How to get rid of the Jimmy Wales photo on top of Wikipedia pages

To get rid of the photo of Wikipedia's creator Jimmy Wales, click on the "x" in the box located in the upper right of the banner that shows Jimmy Wales begging for donations.

Actually, a Wikipedia programmer's face has appeared recently with the same request for donations. The same "kill method" should work for whoever appears on the Wikipedia banner begging for donations.

Clicking the "x" box in the beg for donations banner will set a cookie that makes the personal appeal go away for good -- or until you dump all of your cookies.
