After an ugly New York night club scene, where Brandon Marshall was accused of hitting a woman, the Miami Dolphins traded Marshall (pictured) to the Chicago Bears.
For two 3rd-round draft picks the Bears got a Pro Bowl receiver with a lot of baggage.
The trade for the Pro Bowl receiver would be a bargain for the Bears except for his off-the-field problems.
When Brandon Marshall joined the Miami Dolphins in 2010, he had a string of scrapes with the law in three states, repeated domestic disputes, contract squabbles, and petulant behavior during three years with the Denver Broncos (third link below).
Despite Marshall's off-the-field antics, Bear quarterback Jay Cutler will be happy to have Marshall who was his favorite target when they were both with the Broncos.
