Loveland, Colorado has one of the few CFI’s in the nation.
The controversial CFI (continuous flow intersection) here in Loveland has drawn a crowd from Illinois as a nine-member delegation of public officials from Algonquin, Illinois arrived in Loveland to watch one of the nation's few, and possibly the best, continuous-flow intersections at work.
A continuous flow intersection is never logical to the uninitiated. The Loveland CFI opened to traffic eighteen months ago and it is still not uncommon to see a driver fouling up traffic by not following instructions.
