From a Yahoo News report:
President Barack Obama can't seem to stop bad-mouthing the record of former President George W. Bush. But on Thursday, Obama welcomed his predecessor and presided as George W. Bush's image and legacy were enshrined at the White House forever.
Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama joined Bush and his wife, Laura, as their official portraits are unveiled.
Obama kept up a presidential tradition typically defined by cheer and graciousness, but not without some uneasiness.
The photo below shows an impatient Obama during the ceremony.
Hardly a day goes by without Obama or his aides talking about the mess they inherited — meaning, from Bush.It was just one week ago that Obama, revving up campaign donors, turned Bush into a punch line.
You can bet the farm that George and Laura Bush would not have been invited to within a mile of the White House if it weren’t for the traditional portrait ceremony.
One commenter wrote. “Deep down I bet they [Barack and Michelle] know George and Laura are what a first couple are supposed to act like but it’s not as fun as wild White House parties and living like the 1%.”
