Loved by many as the homespun Sheriff of the storybook make-belive town of Mayberry, North Carolina.
Not loved by hosts of conservatives -- especially in his native North Carolina -- because of his politics.

Too bad Andy couldn’t have lived long enough to see his elderly relatives and friends denied medical care by a non-medical government employee telling their doctor which procedures are allowable and which procedures are not allowable under full-blown ObamaCare.
