Wynona Judd and her husband Michael Scott 'Cactus' Moser were riding their motorcycles in the Black Hills of South Dakota when Moser’s cycle veered across the center divider and rammed into the side of a Chevy Malibu traveling in the opposite direction.
Moser was immediately airlifted to Rapid City Regional Hospital. The driver of the car and Judd, who was riding another motorcycle just in front of Moser, were unharmed
Moser, who is the drummer for Judd’s band, had his left leg amputated above the knee and needed surgery on his hand.
The accident happened on U.S. Highway 16/365 in Hill City, South Dakota.
One incorrect report said the accident happened in Deadwood, South Dakota. Deadwood is where Wynona and her band were appearing on stage.
