From a report at the link below:
Former Vice President Al Gore, who 12 years ago was talking “lockboxes” while debating then-Texas Gov. George W. Bush, will be analyzing the first presidential debate between President Obama and GOP nominee Mitt Romney.
First - will anyone be watching? The Gore debate analysis will be on his left-leaning Current TV. Does anyone watch the channel? How many people subscribe to Current TV?
Second - the “lockboxes” comment mentioned above refers to an Al Gore debate promise to take entitlement trust funds and put them in a “lock box,” thus preventing Congress from raiding the funds to pay for pet projects at the expense of future generations.
Too bad President Obama doesn’t follow that advice!
Under Democrat control during Obama’s first two years Nancy Pelosi treated it like a free lunch, eating away at our future.
Gore will lead a roundtable featuring other Current TV hosts, including former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm, former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer, Cenk Uygur and John Fugelsang.
Anyone who saw the Jennifer Granholm melt down at the Democrat National Convention earlier this month knows all they need to know about the recently defeated Michigan Governor.
Eliot Spitzer had to resign his position as Governor of NewYork after a scandal involving a young high-end call-girl who knew Spitzer as client-9.
Cenk Uygur is the host of a weekly left-wing talk show The Young Turks on Current TV.
John Fugelsang is an actor and stand-up comedian.
A blue ribbon panel? You be the judge.
