Sally Struthers was arrested for drunk driving in Maine on Sept. 12.
The actress best known for her role on "All in the Family," and as a spokesperson for Christian Children's Fund, was arrested and charged with an OUI -- operating under the influence.

An OUI charge is only used in a few states.
Unlike a DUI, an OUI can be incurred when the driver is under the influence even if the car is stopped and not running.
According to the State of Maine Bureau of Highway Safety website, a suspension takes place prior to any court appearance, so while you're waiting for your day in court, you won't be driving.
With a tentative December court date the 65-year-old Struthers won’t be driving for a long time.
