Either he doesn’t know how to shoot skeet or the photo was staged by people who don’t know how to shoot skeet.
Despite warnings from the Obama administration not to photoshop or otherwise alter the Obama skeet photo dozens have appeared on the Internet (the warning was almost like an open invitation). Our favorite is shown below.
Using Photoshop by the Obama administration would have been more convincing if they knew more about shotguns and skeet shooting.
Skeet shooters almost never shoot with the barrel level to ground. The barrel rises as the shooter follows the path of the clay pigeon into the air until the trigger is pulled.
The plume of smoke coming out of the side of the barrel is evidence the photo was not only staged but doctored unless a smoking blank shell was used. It seems impossible that Obama would have used shells not made with smokeless powder.
Placing the stock as it shows in the picture would have given him a severely bruised shoulder. Try it sometime. You won’t ever do it again.
Pheasant hunters in my home state of South Dakota, the pheasant hunting capitol of America, are surely rolling their eyes at the staged photo of the president shooting a shotgun.
Anyway, he shoots like he throws - let’s just leave it at that.
