The 39 year old Colorado Rockies slugger is near the end of his career.
Looked up to by fans as one of the truly good guys in Baseball, Helton looks like an out-of-shape drunk in his mugshot shown here.
He certainly doesn’t look like he is ready for 2013 Spring Training.
The arrest was made early Wednesday near his home in Thornton, Colorado just north of Denver.
Helton’s career accomplishments include three Gold Gloves, four Silver Sluggers, five All-Star appearances, and one batting championship.
And now his résumé also includes a very regrettable incident generating a thuggish appearing mugshot.
