Anyone that knows anything about baseball understands that the season is basically over for the Colorado Rockies.
The team is bad enough that it’s near impossible to be optimistic especially since Rockies fans have to endure three more months of bad Rockies baseball before the season is mercifully over.
100 losses seems feasible for this hapless franchise. It’s about the only record they have a chance at this season.
The Rockies did manage a one-run win on Saturday but came back today and suffered their 16th loss in their last 19 games by falling to the Los Angeles Dodgers 8-2.
Each additional loss during the remainder of the season will no doubt mean fewer season tickets sold next year.
