Olivia de Havilland, the last but surviving cast member from Gone with the Wind, turned 100 on July 1. She is losing her sight and hearing her mind is still sharp and she is in otherwise good health.
Olivia de Havilland is shown above in a photograph taken on June 25, 2016 in Paris were she lives.
Below she is shown (on the left) with Vivien Leigh in Gone With the Wind.
She was the only star to ‘die’ in Gone With the Wind, so perhaps it's fitting that she should be the star who gets to shine on in seeming perpetuity, a storied figure from Hollywood's golden age.
Olivia de Havilland and Joan de Beauvoir de Havilland, known to moviegoers as Joan Fontaine, were sisters.
