Planned Parenthood abortion clinics silent about Gosnell butchery

Who outside of Kermit Gosnell’s abortion clinic knew about the massacre of the innocents but didn’t say a word to the authorities about it? Planned Parenthood, that’s who.

This week, Planned Parenthood Southeast Pennsylvania president and CEO Dayle Steinberg admitted that she knew what was going on at Gosnell’s butcher shop.

She and her organization did not report it to state health officials or anyone else who could have stepped in.

Steinberg said they left it up to the traumatized women themselves to report the horror: “We would always encourage them to report it to the Department of Health,” she said.

Democrats and abortion advocates would have us believe that Planned Parenthood is a non-profit organization providing reproductive health and maternal and child health services.

That is only part of the story. Planned Parenthood is more of an abortion clinic than anything else.

Not only that, they receive taxpayer funding to help finance their abortion activities. In 2012 $542 million in taxpayer support in fiscal 2012.

Bomb mastermind Tamerlan Tsarnaev was living on state welfare benefits

A report at the link below says Botson Marathon bomb mastermind Tamerlan Tsarnaev (pictured) was living on taxpayer-funded state welfare benefits while reaching deep into the world of radical anti-American Islamism.

In addition, both of Tsarnaev’s parents received benefits, and accused brother bombers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan were recipients through their parents when they were younger, according to the state.

In 2009, he was quoted in a photo essay as saying, “I don’t have a single American friend, I don’t understand them,” adding that he believed Americans had lost their “values.”

After masterminding the killing and maiming at the Boston Marathon he showed the world what his values were.

Oregon juror put in jail for texting during trial

Jurors in Oregon are given explicit instructions at the outset of each trial not to use cellphones in court.

One juror did not heed the instructions.

The judge noticed an unexpected glow on a juror's chest while the courtroom lights were dimmed during video evidence in an armed-robbery trial.

The glow was from 26-year-old juror Benjamin Kohler’s cellphone - he was texting.

The judge held Kohler in contempt and he spent most of Tuesday and Wednesday in the county jail.

Chuck Schumer: don’t link Boston to immigration

Senator Chuck Schumer (pictured), a Democrat from New York, has admonished his colleagues not to “try to conflate” the immigration reform bill with the bombings at the Boston Marathon because the perpetrators have been identified as immigrants.

Schumer’s comment came on Friday at a hearing of the Senate Judiciary Committee on the immigration bill.

As the hearing was happening, the Boston metropolitan area was on lockdown, as police attempted to capture one of the suspects in the bombing.

Chicago woman arrested 396 times, used at least 83 aliases

A published report says a Chicago woman has been arrested at least 396 times since 1978.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports Shermain Miles (shown in Chicago Police Department photo) has been charged for disorderly conduct and attempted robbery, among other things.

She has used at least 83 aliases.

The 51-year-old is imprisoned at the Logan Correctional Center in Lincoln, Illinois.

We wonder if there is a ‘habitual criminal’ penalty in Chicago.

Boston mayor says bomber suspects ‘acted alone’ despite ties to terrorists

Boston Mayor Thomas Menino (upper photo) said Sunday that the information he has about the Boston Marathon bombings suggests the two individuals suspected of carrying out the attack acted alone.

The Mayor must have been listening to president Obama when he admonished Americans not to jump to conclusions as reported at the second link below.

Many on the left want us to downplay the power and influence of al Qaeda sponsored terrorists.

Why did Tamerlan Tsarnaev (lower photo) meet with an Islamic militant at Dagestani mosque six times if they acted alone? And why did Russian authorities contact the FBI in November with questions about Tamerlan Tsarnaev if they acted alone? See third link below.

Why did Tamerlan Tsarnaev spend 6 months in Chechnya in 2012 if they acted alone? It’s a safe bet that he wasn’t there sightseeing nor was he there to seek out is grandmother’s recipe for chachapuri. It was more than likely he was there to learn a bomb recipe you can't find on a Google search.

An article at the fourth link below seems to prove Mayor Menino wrong by reporting a story titled, FBI hunting 12-strong terrorist “sleeper cell” linked to brothers Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

Once again must rely on the British media to give us reports that most in the American media avoid rather than go against the views of the Obama administration.

Sportscaster Al Michaels arrested for DUI

Al Michaels (pictured), possibly the most well-known sportscaster in the world, was arrested Friday night in California on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

According to TMZ, Michaels went through a DUI checkpoint in Santa Monica at approximately 10:00 PM on Friday. When he spoke to officers, they detected an odor of alcohol. Michaels did not pass a breathalyzer test.

Michaels was said to be extremely cooperative and was released on his own recognizance Saturday morning.

Michaels was the play-by-play man for "Monday Night Football" for 20 years before moving over to "Sunday Night Football."

He has also done baseball and basketball ... but is best known for his call of the legendary "Miracle on Ice" hockey game at the 1980 Winter Olympics.

Another memorable game called by Al Michaels was the third game of the 1989 World Series between the Giants and the “cross-town" visiting Oakland Athletics at Candlestick Park when the Loma Prieta earthquake struck.

Why would we rule out anything in the marathon bombing investigation?

Shortly after Dzokhar Tsarnaev was captured alive in his boat hiding place Barack Obama said, “In this age of instant reporting and tweets and blogs, there's a temptation to latch on to any bit of information, sometimes to jump to conclusions.”

He further said we should not rush to judgment about entire groups of people.

Perhaps disappointed that the killers who set off the bombs were not white boys from mid-west farm country, it is clear that the president and his administration want to distract us from the possibility that they are trained al Qaeda terrorists.

They are still trying to downplay the fact that it was obviously al Qaeda affiliated trained terrorists who murdered four Americans in the Benghazi attacks on September 11, 2012.

These initial assessments fit nicely with the administration’s broader narrative about the end of the War on Terror and the imminent demise of al Qaeda.

The Obama administration is still trying to bask in their triumph after the killing of Osama bin Laden that was supposed to free us from any further terror from al Qaeda cells.

One wonders why U.S. intelligence officials seem to be ruling out ties to jihadist groups in the marathon bombing. Why would they rule out anything so early?

One commenter wrote, “it’s time to quit strip searching granny in airports and focus on foreign terrorist for a change.”

British media does what U.S. media fails to do - cover the Dr. Gosnell abortion trial

The London Daily Mail reports on the Kermit Gosnell abortion trial with a report titled: House of horrors worker: I saw 10 babies BREATHE and when I became pregnant Gosnell pressured me to abort.

A former abortion clinic worker capped the five-week murder trial of her former boss with powerful testimony that she saw more than 10 babies breathe before they were killed.

'I thought they were breathing,' Kareema Cross testified on Thursday in Philadelphia, explaining that she saw their chests go up and down. 'He would say they're not really breathing.'

Cross, 28, is the final prosecution witness in the capital murder case against Dr Kermit Gosnell. He is charged in the deaths of a patient and seven babies allegedly born alive.

Cross also described seeing three babies move, one after being born in a toilet, and heard a fourth give a 'soft whine.'
