Just weeks before her sudden death comedienne Joan Rivers “banned” First Lady Michelle Obama, pop star Adele and talk show host Chelsea Handler from attending her funeral.
The comedienne sent Hollywood into mourning when she died Thursday, days after suffering a cardiac arrest during a routine throat procedure.
Joan Rivers - Michelle Obama
Her funeral was held in New York on Sunday and attracted stars including Hugh Jackman, Whoopi Goldberg, Kelly Osbourne and Sarah Jessica Parker, and it has now emerged Rivers had previously drawn up a wish-list of famous faces who should stay away.
Just weeks before her death the 81-year-old Rivers told The Sunday Times Magazine that those she wanted kept away from her funeral included Michelle Obama, who she branded "a tranny", Adele for being "fat", and Handler, who she called a "drunk.”
She banned Michelle Obama from her funeral by including her on a "wish list" of those who should stay away.
Would Michelle have attended the funeral? No, of course not but Rivers got the last ‘laugh.’
