Remember that shoe with the heel lower than the sole and a nearly square toe? It was know as the earth shoe and was a staple of the 1970’s. Some referred to them as ugly ducklings. Others swore by them saying they felt better after walking in them. Earth shoes are now making a comeback after a 20 year absence.

According to a recent issue of Time Magazine, celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, Taye Diggs and Pierce Brosnan are buying earth shoes for their comfort. It is a shoe with heels that are slightly lower than the toes to promote a more natural posture
