Culver's started as a family-owned restaurant in Wisconsin with made-to-order cheeseburgers, frozen custard, and cheese curds, and it's since expanded to over 700 restaurants across the US.
Not long after a Culver’s opened up here in Loveland, Colorado we went there for lunch. We each ordered a Butterburger and frozen custard.
The Butterburger’s (I can think of a more appropriate name) had a rancid grease taste. The frozen custard was an afterthought. They were rock hard and we didn’t wait for them to thaw enough to eat.
We left and went somewhere else for lunch
The writer of the MSN report said “going into Culver’s felt cozy and peaceful, like stepping into a Midwestern grandma's home.” He should have been with us when we ate at Culver’s. Grandma never made burgers with a rancid taste.
Cheese curds? Puhleeze! Would they have a rancid taste as well?
We wonder how much Culver’s paid the writer to publish that slobbery article?
