A DC-3 that crashed in the bush was recovered and turned into a unique camper van.
It's got the unmistakable nose and body of a plane but has no wings.
This unique camper van is occasionally seen on roads of south-east Queensland, Australia.
On the night of March 26, 1947, a DC-3 was brought down by a lightning strike on a flight from Sydney, Australis to Jakarta, Indonesia. All six people on board survived, and the cargo was undamaged.
It took six weeks to get the plane out of the bush and to the main road where it could be towed.
A full report of the plane-turned-camper can be found here.
