A boy having fun climbing in boxes
Grandson Allen loved to climb in boxes when he was quite young. In the first photo he is about 2-years-old and in the other photo he is about 4. Time sure flies - his oldest daughter is now in high school!

Valeta (grandma Sam) has two black eyes!
She got the ‘shiners’ from a fall behind the ‘cut counter’ at Jo-Ann Fabrics.
The ER determined there was no concussion but she has huge black/blue bruises on upper arm and shoulder.
Ironically it happened on Black Friday. Workers comp will replace her eyeglasses.

A pet Iguana once lived in our house
Our son Norm and daughter Teri had a pet iguana when they were teenagers.
Top photo shows the iguana on Norm's shoulder. Teri is holding the iguana in the lower photo.
Valeta was barely tolerant of the creature. Lori didn’t like it either. I was a neutral bystander.
We were all amazed by how fast he could race around the basement when not in his cage.
